DESCRIPTION:<p>This event is sponsored by the DSU Suicide Prevention Grant.</p>\n<p>The Delta State University Garrett Lee Smith Memorial grant\, funded through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)\, is promoting suicide prevention as well as implementing campus wide training programs to identify students at risk for depression\, substance abuse and potential suicide precursors and funnel them into an appropriate coordinated response procedure. This one workshop will allow faculty and staff to recognize those students At-Risk for suicide.
