Residence Hall Directors

Residence Hall Directors have the responsibility for implementing the residential life program within your Residence Hall. They work to maintain the cooperative community atmosphere needed in residence halls and make their decisions in the best interest of all students.

When you have a concern you are encouraged to talk to your R.A. When your R.A. feels it’s necessary, you will be directed to your Residence Hall Director, but feel free to drop by and talk to him/her anytime. They have the training and experience to be able to help you discover solutions to your concerns. They work closely with other offices on campus in dealing with various aspects of your personal and academic development.

Residence Hall Directors work with the development of Hall Councils and RA’s, but they don’t do all the work! Their responsibility is to advise these groups and encourage their involvement in presenting a balance of opportunities for your growth while living in the residence halls.
