Students reserving DMI rehearsal rooms and/or studio space are prohibited from proping open exterior doors once inside the building. Violations of this policy will result in loss of access to the rehearsal space/studio for one semester.
Student requesting rehearsal room/studio reservation MUST be a current DSU student enrolled in DMI coursework and MUST be present at rehearsal/session. Names of all participants in the rehearsal/session must be listed on the reservation form. Additional equipment requests may be addressed in the comment box.
Band leader/member/ student must complete and submit the information form below to DMI 24 hours or more in advance of rehearsal/session to request room reservation. Requests submitted after 12pm on Friday will not be processed until the following business day (Monday).
Whitfield 205-B is reserved for DMI Bands. Request for the use of 205-B are addressed on an individual basis by the Director of DMI bands and/or the DMI Director.

DMI Administrative Assistant, DMI Director, or DMI Instructor will confirm request by email and notify DSU Police before rehearsal/session. Students reserving rehearsal or studio space are responsible for the security of reserved space and all related departmental equipment. If DMI faculty/staff are not available to lock and secure the building/room/studio at end of reserved time, the student of record is required to contact DSU Police and wait on site until rehearsal room/studio and building is locked.
NO food or drink in rehearsal space/studios except bottled water with a screw on cap. NO EXCEPTIONS.
