Delta State uses a content management system in order to provided decentralized content management across the institutional website.  The University has chosen  to use Site Builder Toolkit (SBT), a completely browser-based website content management solution created by Ellucian.  The content management approach to website development allows you to develop, edit, maintain and manage your department’s content with minimal training and it requires no HTML experience. The simple and intuitive SBT user interface facilitates web content management through:

• Standardized page templates, including automated page headers and footers
• Automated navigational content
• Simple procedures for adding and editing page content, and for managing page organization

Warning: Make sure you are not logged into more than one session of SBT at the same time.  If you are logged in more than once, you may edit more than the one page you intended to edit. 

Please remember to backup your web pages, images, and documents in case you accidently delete or paste over your information.  This can be accomplished by copying the HTML code, images, and documents and saving them on a CD, jump drive, or hard drive.   If you need assistance, please contact OIT @ 4444
