Dianne Serio

Delta State University Staff Council honors Dianne Serio as employee of the month for April.

Dianne was born in New Orleans, LA, and raised in Coldwater, MS.  After graduating from high school and community college, she came to Cleveland to attend Delta State. This is where she met my husband, George, who is the Chief Investigator for the Cleveland Police Department.They have been married for almost 34 years and have two daughters, Sheila, who lives here, and Alyssa, who lives in Athens, GA. Dianne began working at Delta State in 1988 in the Office of Financial Assistance, then Perkins Loans. She has worked in the Office of Curriculum and Instruction and Office of Procurement and is currently employed in the Department of Art. Dianne holds  a CPPB Purchasing Certification and a BBA and MBA degree from Delta State.
