Delta State University College of Business student Lisa Smitherman (at right), a senior accountancy major from Grenada, is presented the Mississippi Society of CPAs Scholarship by Delta State Instructor in Accountancy Lisa Sandifer.
The Mississippi Society of CPA’s Scholarship, awarded to accountancy majors who are residents of Mississippi, is based on academic performance, campus involvement, character, faculty recommendation, and leadership ability.
Smitherman will be recognized, along with other scholarship recipients, at the Delta State College of Business Awards and Scholarships Recognition Banquet which will be held in the spring.
